PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the executability, to enhance the fixing strength, and to improve the watertightness of a connecting part of the metal building material by fixing the metal building material mainly constructed as a wall material from a rear side. SOLUTION: A fitting recess 2 which is folded outward in the rear direction and opened diagonally outward in the surface side is formed in one side end in the left/right direction of a building material main body 1, a lock recess part 3 which is folded inward in the rear direction, projected outward in the rear side, and opened diagonally inward in the surface side is formed in the other side end of the building main body 1, and a fitting projection 4 is formed. It is so formed that a recess 5 which is opened in the approximately same direction as the opening direction of the lock recess 3 is provided in the intermediate part in the left/right direction of the building material main body 1 and the lock bending piece 6 is folded up.
