PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and smoothly carry out sediment drilling work and soil improvement process by constituting drilling of sediment and the soil improvement process for foundation consolidation, etc., by a single machine, drawing a processing vessel at the time of drilling sediment and projecting the processing vessel forward at the time of carrying out the soil improvement process. SOLUTION: A sediment hopper 30 and a soil improving material hopper 52 are set on a front side, and an overhung part provided on the processing vessel 20 connected through a connecting cylindrical part 39 to a rear end part is installed on a support member 70 provided on a center frame 15 of a lower travelling body 1 free to move in the longitudinal direction. A leg part is connected to the soil improving material hopper 52, and this leg part is connected to the processing vessel 20 by a bolt 65 free to connect and disconnect to and from it. A connecting plate 67 is provided on the processing vessel 20, a hydraulic cylinder 68 is provided between this connecting plate 67 and the center frame 15, and after the soil improving material hopper 52 is separated from the processing vessel 20, the processing vessel 20 is drawn to the side of a lower part travelling body 1 specified length by actuating the hydraulic cylinder 68.
