A display object designed to communicate a message either by imprint of a suitable legend on the display object or by shaping the display object to convey a familiar gesture. The intent of the message becomes apparent by positional change of the display object under the influence of an air-stream, of suitable velocity, such as that generated by vehicles moving at speed. The transformable display has a body adapted for suspension upon a carrying vehicle or a stationary support. A connector has a first end that is configured or constructed to be fixed upon an extending support that is transportable upon a carrying vehicle and an opposite second end coupled to the body. To provide action to the character, the body and the connector are arranged together so that the character ornament is transformable between a fist position and a second position responsively to external forces imposed upon the character ornament as a consequence of the speed of a carrying vehicle. The transforming force typically being the relative wind passing over a traveling vehicle. Typically, the extending support is already mounted exteriorly upon the carrying vehicle with the first end of the connector fixed thereupon. Conveniently, the extending support may be an antenna such as that used for radio reception. The character ornament may be configured to resemble a popular figure such as an athlete or an animal. The connector, or an element thereof, may be configured as one or more limbs such as an arm or a leg of the figure.
