<p>The refuse compacting press is fitted with an automatically operating lever mechanism, which in conjunction with the termination of the pressing process and opening of the discharge door, tilts the compacted bale which makes it easier to transfer it into a pallet. The lever mechanism for the tilting of the bale consists of roller located on the bale discharge edge of the container. The roller is fitted to a sliding rod guided in sleeves. The other end of the rod is fitted to lever pivoting around a fulcrum. The other end of the lever is jointed to a further sliding rod provided on its end with a carrier lug working conjunction with carrier plate. When the compacting is finished and the door opened, a spring slides the second rod engage the liq. with a plate. This engagement causes the base plate to be tilted into an inclined position.</p> |
