<p>A concrete mixing system employs special containers into each of which the required amounts of solid material are deposited at a loading site, then the containers are conveyed to a building site and discharges into a mixer together with water, so that the correct mixture of ingredients is ensured. Each container is supported by a special frame, and a lorry can be used to carry a set of containers and their frames. Each container consists of two halves overlapping along their vertical edges, so that they can be swung apart by releasing a catch at the bottom, and each half has a lid at the top for filling with solid material. The carrying frame allows it to be positioned on top of a mixer for discharge. The mixer can be mounted on a vehicle carrying also a water tank. The mixer has a special feed chute on top in which water can be supplied as the solid materials are discharged from the container.</p> |
