<p>1430612 Valves KEYSTONE INTERNATIONAL Inc 26 June 1973 30435/73 Heading F2V [Also in Division F1] A fluid operated actuator, Fig. 3, has a pair of pistons 72, 74 with toothed skirts 73, 75 which engage pinions on a shaft 44 and are supplied with fluid through ducts 23, 24 in the cylinder and ducts 94, 96, 98 in removable end-plates 84, 86. Fluid is supplied to the space between the pistons by a radial duct through the cylinder wall. The shaft 44 has a bore 102 into which a shaft 26 of a valve 28, Fig. 1, is received. The valve may be manually operated by means of a rod 106 which is housed in the bore 102 when not in use and partially withdrawn when required. A resilient cap 112 is attached to the rod 106 by a bolt 110 and has a sealing hub 114.</p> |
