The mobile pot-forming press has a chassis with a hopper for the soil used, and a conveyor belt delivering the soil to a press and cutting mechanism working in the vertical direction. During the press operation the machine moves at continuous and even speed. The press and cutting mechanism can be moved by a hydraulic mechanism during the press operation in the opposite direction to the machine, so as to be stationary in relation to the soil.
