A device for use in replaceably fixing, for example, a moulded trim (M) to a sheet metal car body wall (L), of the type comprises a plate (10) with oppositely arranged wings (12) on which the trim (M) can be hooked. The plate (10) is securable to the wall (L) by means of double sided adhesive tape (20) adhered to the rear face of the plate, thereby obviating the need to provide holes in the wall (L).
