Upon termination of cooling phase, at second and subsequent fruit-formation stages during watering cycle epibrassinolide is applied at least once in an amount of 0.001-0.01 ml/sq m. At the beginning of third fruit-formation stage before cooling stage, lignin is introduced in an amount of 3-20% by weight of substrate. During fruit-formation and fruit-bearing period, aeroionic treatment of air contacting with substrate is performed and/or air is blown through substrate during at least one stage.
