The terminal block is designed for use on a printed circuit. It can be fixed to the end of a limited circuit board or on the inner surface of the board. The terminal block has a two identical parts moulded insulating body (2). The two part body (2) encloses a conducting strip (5). The conducting strip (5) has a narrow end part (6). This narrow part (6) extends from the bottom of the terminal block (2). It is designed to be inserted in a hole in the printed circuit board. The narrow part of the conducting strip is then soldered to the printed circuit board. The other end of the conducting strip can be designed to take a wound wise connection, wire or clamp connection or soldered connection. The conducting strip (5) can take up at least two positions in the moulded block. The insulating parts of the block having location slots for the strip.
