摘要 <p>In the prodn. of an oscillating member for an acoustic oscillation system, in which an oscillating member is formed from a first material (I), the improvement comprises allowing a second material (II), consisting of or based on B, N or Si, to diffuse into at least one surface of (I). (I) pref. is a material which is suitable for use in an oscillating member even in the absence of (II), esp. Al, Ti, C, C fibre-reinforced plastics or Be. The claims also cover the oscillating member produced. The ratio E/p (in which E is the elastic modulus and p the density of the material) of easily-formed material is increased. The member can be produced economically, has a long life and reliability and is free from mechanical strains and cracks. It has excellent qualities in service and can be mass produced cost-effectively in uniform quality.</p>
