<p>The ophthalmological surgery instrument allows the creation on the eyeball of a fully adjustable indentation without the slightest risks to the eye, and is particularly for the treatment of a detached retina. It comprises a ring fixed to the sclera, and a stem secured to the ring and inside which there slides an arm ending in an indentation instrument. The arm is adjustable to front r rear by screw and bolt, and the stroked of the arm allows an exact indentation to be made in the sclera towards the interior of the eyeball, opposite the lesions to be treated. Precision adjustment of both position and size of indentation is possible.</p> |
