The garage door has an actuating rope on both sides. These ropes are moved together and simultaneously by a motorised drive for operating the doors. The door panel pivots about a horizontal axis, the rope ends being connected to counterbalancing weights. An additional rope is fastened with one end to the pin in the door pivot axis. Other end of this rope is connected to the counterweights. A guide lever is pivoted on door frame and door panel sides. The counterweights travel up and down in tubes.
