The blood dialysis unit has a blood pump (1) and filter (2) forming a circuit to which is connected a drive circuit with a suction pump (3) and filtrate collector vessel (4). Another vessel (5) for a substitute liquid has an infusion pump (7) connected to the input side of the blood pump (1). Both these vessels are carried on a balance arm (6). The T:H of this arm can be compensated for by a motor driven sliding weight (14). The arm also has a device for monitoring the difference in weight between the two vessels, and which gives a control signal for the infusion pump (7) or a valve (10) to control the mixture. It can also control a further pump (11) connecting a measuring vessel (15) to the junction between the section pump (3) and the filtrate vessel (4). All the pumps can be exchangeable units. |
