<p>The seat belt is fitted with an automatic take up mechanism with belt tautness control and an additional clasp by which the part of the webbing hugging the abdominal part of the body can be adjusted in length optionally. The safety belt layout consists of take up mechanism (7) with webbing tautness controlling device. Length (2) of the webbing is attached to the take up mechanism and lead through a diverting mounting fixed to the car body. The webbing (2) is attached by a sewn-on loop to a buckle (5), which at the same time carries the locking plate fitting into lock (4). Buckle (5) has a middle web, to which the permanently anchored webbing (1) is attached by another loop made slidingly adjustable by clasp (6). Hereby the abdominal strap (1) can be adjusted in length independently from the tautness of the shoulder strap (2).</p> |
