Shower basin with at least one water nozzle to shower a person sitting on a seat fitted inside the basin with the shower basin fitted with a base section having an outlet for the shower water as well as with a raised section located next to it. That part of the raised section includes an opening and forms the base of an area (22) providing space for the seat used during the showering. The raised part with the opening is directly and at a distance below the seat and inside the chamber (25) below the raised section there is a draw-off and flushing system, for faces falling through the openings of the seat.
