The actuating arrangement for combined rotating and tilting panels of windows has a rosette with rotating handle. This handle actuates a rotating toothed pinion engaged with a rack which projects out of the rosette with a coupling connection for the locking rods. This actuating mechanism can be used with all profile systems and the carrier is readily adaptable and dimensional inaccuracies can be also compensated. - This actuating mechanism can be used for metal and plastics profiles and also for timber elements.
