The tilting bearing intended for turn-and-tilt wings of windows or doors is fastened to the under side of the fixed frame (1) so as to lie opposite a corner bearing and has a receiving pocket (7) for a tongue which projects from the wing in the tilting position of the latter. So that this tilting bearing can be fastened securely in the fixed frame, it has an extension (13) which projects from the bearing body at a distance from the outer face of the latter and which is supported relative to the outside on a depression provided in the fixed frame (1). <IMAGE>
