PURPOSE:To obtain the title absorbing solution having excellent corrosion resistance, capable of preventing leakage accidents of the air caused by corrosion of device by adding nitrate, bromide, etc., of a metal of group Y, group Ti, etc., to an aqueous solution of alkali metal halide. CONSTITUTION:(A) an aqueous solution of an alkali metal halide such as lithium bromide is blended with (B) 0.01-0.1wt.% one or more of nitrate, bromide or double oxide of metals of group Y, group Ti, group V and group Cr and optionally (C) 0.1-0.5wt.% alkali metal hydroxide and (D) 0.01-0.5wt.% alkylaminoalkanol and alkanolamine to give the aimed absorbing solution. |
