<p>Articles are stacked with a plate between every two layers the loader comprising a conveyor at the end of which the articles pile up and are transferred onto a plate in the cage which forms an extension of the conveyor. On the side of the loading station (z) opposite the conveyor, with the cage for a stack (31) of plates, is a store (4) with an adjuster (33) for raising a supporting plate (32) in stages each by the height of the thickness of the intermediate plate. On the upper side of the store is a slide (47) which entrains the uppermost plate on movement over the loading station and slides it over the top of the cage.</p> |
