The folding wheel chock has two rigid triangular frames (4, 10) which are set on the ground with their longest sides and which are hinged together at their apexs at the end of the longest sides. The two frames are splayed appart by a spring (2) at the hinge and a chain (7) at the rear limits the angle between them. The chock is easily folded flat and it is stored on brackets on the tractor. It is automatically erected when set on the ground and the force of the wheels enhances the splaying action, while the chain takes the strain.
