PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick drying desiccant capable of utilizing for food or the like as a quick drying desiccant having larger adsorption rate than a material to be used conventionally and having the same adsorption and composed of hollow spherical structural particles each having fine pores. SOLUTION: The quick drying desiccant is the hollow spherical structural body particle having allophane or allophane-like structure and is composed of fine particles having a structure having the fine pore, through which water molecule is capable of going in and out, on the outside wall of the hollow spherical particle. The fine particle is allophane.
