<p>PURPOSE: To simplify an operation by installing a gate having slots and recesses slidably on a guide rail having slots and recesses, and inserting the projections of a gas pressure cylinder slidably into both slots. CONSTITUTION: When a roof hatch is opened, a gas compressive spring 20 of an arresting device 18 provided between the frame of a roof and the frame of the hatch is extended completely. When a projection 48 of a ring 46 installed on the outer surface of a gas pressure cylinder 26 reaches the end of each slot of a guide rail 22 and a gate 24, the recesses of the guide rail 22 and the gate 24 match with each other and the hatch is opened completely. When the hatch is closed, the projection 48 reaches the other end of the slots of the gate 24, the gate 24 is pressed to a pivot pin 40 along the guide rail 22, and the recesses of the rail 22 are covered by the bottom part of the gate 24.</p> |
