PURPOSE:To allow bright coloration and to improve light resistance by incorporating a dye treated by a resin which is electrostatically charged negative by friction with iron powder and a pigment treated by a resin which is electrostatically charged positive by friction with the iron powder as a coloring agent into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The dye treated by the resin which is electrostatically charged negative by friction with the iron power and the pigment treated by the resin which is electrostatically charged positive by the friction with the iron powder are incorporated as the coloring agent into the toner. Namely, the dye treated by the positive chargeable resin and the dye treated by the negative chargeable resin are uniformly dispersed in a binder resin and the pigment having the excellent light resistance protects the dyes. The dye is treated by the negative chargeable resin in such a manner and is used in combination with the positive chargeable pigment, by which the dispersion of the dyes and the pigment in the binder resin is improved and the bright magenta color is obtd.; further, the light resistance is improved as well. |
