PURPOSE: An air injecting wiping apparatus for a side mirror of a vehicle is provided to improve operation and convenience by eliminating drops from side mirrors simply during traveling in the rain with compressed air supplied from an air line of a brake pipe. CONSTITUTION: A pipe(2) of an air tank(1) supplying air to a brake is connected to a branch pipe(5) through a three-way valve connector(4) having an air gauge(3). A protection valve(6) is connected to a solenoid valve(7) in series, and is installed in the branch pipe. The solenoid valve is connected to a control switch(9) of a control unit(8) through a wire harness(10). Plural injection nozzles(12) are formed in the upper parts of left and right side mirrors(11a,11b), and connected to an air tube hose(13). An electric signal is applied to the solenoid valve in pushing the control switch during traveling in the rain, and compressed air is supplied from the air tank with opening the branch pipe. Compressed air is injected to the side mirrors through the injection nozzles, and drops are eliminated from the side mirrors with wiping down drops. Operation and convenience are improved with eliminating drops from the side mirrors during traveling in the rain.
