COMMUNICATION TERMINAL CAPABLE OF CONFIRMING TRANSMITTER AND METHOD FOR CONFIRMING TRANSMITTER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A communication terminal capable of confirming a transmitter and a method for confirming the transmitter using the same are provided to confirm the identity of the transmitter using multimedia data when requesting a communication connection. CONSTITUTION: A communication connection unit(102) detects identification information of a transmitter for requesting a communication connection when a communication connection request is received through a communication network. A memory(108) stores transmitter confirming data corresponding to identification information of the transmitter. A control unit(104) controls the output of the transmitter confirming data stored in the memory(108) using identification information and the communication connection request signal transmitted through the communication connection unit(102) so that the communication connection request is informed in a receiver. A data processing unit(106) is controlled by the control unit(104), reads the transmitter confirming data corresponding to identification information from the memory(108), and processes the read data so that the read data are outputted as a format capable of being recognized by the receiver. An output unit(110) outputs the transmitter confirming data outputted from the data processing unit(106) so that it is possible for the receiver to confirm the transmitter confirming data. An information input unit(116) inputs information for which the receiver wishes.
