A smoke outlet 15 is located in a portion of the casing which will be above the water when the easing floats. The ejecting charge is ignited by electrical or percussive means 21. A gunpowder pellet 8 ignites the smoke pellets. An opening 14 prevents build up of pressure in the container 2 due to gases from the fuse 7. |
