The shelf 11, having a sleeve 11a, is rotatably mounted on a member 10 carried by the base 12a of the cabinet, the oval rings 17, 17 are either resiliently deformable or resiliently mounted, the braking surfaces 16. 16 may be curved or straight and the distance of the braking surfaces from the member 10 gradually increases in a direction towards the socket 15.
