Bailing control for inflatable liferaft - has folding bailer linked to venting pipe with two non return valves

The inflatable rescue raft has a folding bailer on the floor, the bailer covered by two flexible flaps (18). To remove any water, the bailer is lifted up by its self erecting funnel (12) with any water trapped in the funnel being forced down through two non return valves (14, 15) into the outside water. Repeated operation effectively clears the raft. The occupants of the raft do not have to open its canopy to clear the water and can thus stay warm. The bailer can be fitted to any type of inflatable raft.
