<p>1496741 1 - N - [L - (-) -α- Hydroxy -γ- aminobutyryl] - XK - 62 - 2 KYOWA HAKKO KOGYO CO Ltd and ABBOTT LABORATORIES 23 Jan 1975 [24 Jan 1974] 3032/75 Heading C2C 1 - N - [L - (-) -α- Hydroxy -γ- aminobutyryl] - XK - 62 - 2 is prepared by reacting a protected derivative of XK-62-2, having a readily removable amino-protecting group in the 61-position and optionally also in the 2<SP>1</SP>- position, obtained, e.g., by N-acylation with an acylating agent derived from L-(-)-α-hydroxy-γ-aminobutyric acid, the amino group of which is likewise protected by a readily removable amino-protecting group, and subsequently removing the amino-protecting groups from the resulting protected acylated XK-62-2. It may be converted to a pharmaceutically acceptable, non-toxic acid addition salt thereof.</p> |
