The cine camera has a housing (10) and a cassette (11) containing an endless film (12) which is wound on a bobbin (13). The housing (10) is made up of two moulded parts (14, 15). Its rear face (16) is open so as to permit insertion and removal of the cassette. When the cassette (11) is inside the housing (10), the film can be driven from the exterior. It can also be seen through an optional system (17) situated on the upper part of the front face of the housing. The film advance mechanism is mounted on a part (14) of the housing. The mechanism consists of a crank plate (18) and a gearwheel (19). Also mounted on the lower part of the cassette, a gear train. This gear train transmits the rotational movement of the crank (18) to a driving wheel (20).
