<p>The control valve (1) has a cylindrical body made in two parts. A two-way valve (14) is normally held against the upper seat (5) by a stack of Belleville washers installed in the lower part (3) of the body. In this position, oil flows through the valve to the jack (42). A temperature sensing device is connected by a tube to a bellows mounted in the upper part (2) of the body. When a predetermined temperature is reached, the bellows expands and push the valve (14) downwards to shut off the supply of oil to the jack (42). The valve (1) is so designed that a pressure sensing device can be installed in place of the bellows.</p> |
