The carburetter has a passage from the float chamber to a tapped hole accommodating either the conventional jet or the regular unit, and there is a low-pressure passage from the carburation chamber to the mixture inlet of the engine. The unit has a body with an external thread screwing into the tapped hole at one end, and near this end is a cylindrical chamber forming a first valve seat, into which there discharges a calibrated passage connected to the one from the float chamber. At the other end is a second valve seat leading to lateral passages or inclusion in the low-pressure passages. A valve works alternately with the seats and is so controlled that it bears against neither when the engine is idling.
|
