<p>The pelmet or masking fascia board (1) is for use in association with slotted box-section curtain rails (2) and is fixed demountably to cantilever brackets (3). The detail of the brackets (3) may vary depending on whether the rail (2) is mounted on a wall or a ceiling, and the pelmet board (1) may receive decorative veneers (C) affixing by Velcro (R.T. M.) strip fasteners. For wall mounted rails the cantilever arm (32) may be an extension of the bar of an inverted 'U' piece (3) which straddles the rail (2). The free end (33) of the cantilever returns down square (4) to form a 'C' shape which houses the pelmet board (1) section. For ceiling-mounted rails the cantilever bracket is simply a length of plate which returns down square at the free end, and which is clamped between the rail and the ceiling.</p> |
