<p>A note pad with tear-off sheets (3) has the stack of sheets secured by staples (5) near the top, above the line of perforations (4). The stack is positioned between a cardboard upper cover (12) and lower cover (1). The upper cover has a set of hinge lines (13, 14, 15) across it so that it can be folded back and underneath the lower cover. Mounted over the top of the stack, under the upper cover and the lower cover is a strip of coarse textile material (7) covering also the staples. This strengthens the stack and also the attachment of the covers.</p> |
