GROMMET WATERPROOF STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To liquid-tightly seal by inserting a wire harness into a fitting hole without inserting from the end and enhance assembly workability in grommet waterproof structure liquid-tightly separating a first space from a second space for fitting the wire harness with the grommet. SOLUTION: This waterproof structure liquid-tightly separates the inside of a door 11 from the inside of a vehicular chamber, where the wire harness W is fit by fitting a cover plate 14 to an opening part 13 of an inside plate 12 and fitting the grommet 21 mounted on the wire harness W to a fitting hole 16 opened in the inside plate 12. A notch 17 connecting to the fitting hole 16 is installed by notching the periphery part of the opening part 13 of the inside plate 12, and the grommet 21 is formed by integratedly forming a body part 22 being fit to the fitting hole 16 of the inside plate 12 and a connected part 23 fitting to the notch 17, and closely contacting with the periphery part of the cover plate 14.
