<p>Pressurised oil supply for turbine shaft rotors incorporates a pressure oil circuit for the bearings. The pressurised oil supply lines (12, 17) which produce the oil cushion for the bearings and for driving the shaft rotor are designed as an hydrostatic motor arranged in parallel and served by a single pump (18). A valve (20) should be included in the oil line (12) so as to throttle or cut off the oil supply for the bearings (6-9) once the set has run up to speed.</p> |
