摘要 High-precision band saw and scalpel operates by vibration to and fro, and sawing, of the saw band instead of rotation, based on the principle of operation of a bell by means of an electromagnetic coil in the handle of the scalpel. Pref. the saw band is not closed, but is buffered backwards and forwards like a railway carriage and thrust to and fro against an end buffer. The frequency can be adjusted infinitely variably, and the direction of more rapid movement forwards and backwards can be reversed. The components of the saw may be suspended in a T-shape in a semiclosed U-shaped rail in which they reciprocate.
