The inductive measuring transducer for small value displacements consists of a U-shaped magnetic yoke (10) carrying an energising winding (11). Between the arms of the yoke (12-13) is a short-circuiting component comprising a flat plate (15) on which rests the profiled edge of a cam plate (16). Both plates are of non-magnetic, electrically-conducting material. The plate is normally held in its datum position by a compression spring. At the other end of the upper edge of the plate is applied the force (F) transmitted by the moving part being measured. The see-saw motion of the cam plate on the fixed plate, causes the point of contact between the two to vary widely with only a small vertical displacement (5).
|
