Jib for sheet printing machine - has rotating suction wheels with sheet supporting wheels for machine removed sheet stacking

Sheet jib for a sheet printing machine by which the printed sheets are removed from the printing machine by means of grab rods positioned on two driven parallel chains. The removed sheets are guided over a lateral row of suction wheels mounted on a driven shaft and positioned on a lay off stack. The suction wheels are rotating at a lower circumferential speed than the grab speed and are slowing down the moving sheets. The sheets are supported by small spur wheels positioned between the suction wheels. On the shaft (20) between the suction wheels (13) are located support discs (22) which are attached by friction to the shaft (20) and are axially movable. Along a pitch circle of the support discs (22) are equally spaced spindles (29) which are supporting the freely rotating small spur wheels (30). The small spur wheels (30) are projecting over circumferential surface (31) of the support discs (22).
