Solar collector with flat airtight housing - with transparent plastic cover and air-filled inner chamber

Solar collector comprises a flat airtight housing with a heat-insulating layer on the rear and side walls, a transparent plastic cover at the front for preventing losses due to convection, and an absorber panel through which flows a heat carrier. The inner chamber of the collector is filled with dry air which is under the air pressure prevailing during its mfr. A dryer may be connected to the inner chamber. The collector has a simple structure, high efficiency and low heat loss, and can be operated at high performance throughout the year at 60-70 degrees C.
