Plastic flow profile for air, gas and wet scrubbers has a hollow interior through which is conducted an energy-recovering and condensation point-fixing medium. On the surface of the profile are eddy chambers and baffle plates which are colled or solid. The profile also has a gas outlet connection with flow structures which produce a high induction resistance. Pref. the eddy chambers are aerodynamically shaped, and within them are mounted secondary baffle plates. The condensation point of the gas stream to be purified can thus be controlled by the medium, so that acids, alkaline solns., bases, metals, can be precipitated in the eddy chambers at the end of laminar flow.
