摘要 <p>Direct positive imaging process is carried out with Ag halide (AgX) material contg. AgX grains produced by the ammonia process, which contain 0-10 mole % AgI and are not fogged before selective exposure. After selective exposure, and during or before development with a surface developer, the material is given a blanket exposure in the presence of a foggant. Good image stability, higher speed and Dmax and lower Dmin are possible. The material can be used in black-and-white, colour and colour diffusion transfer photography. In an example, for material prepd. (a) by the neutral process, (b) by the ammonia process or (c) reversal material, the values obtd. were Dmax (a) 1.5, (b) 1.50, (c) 1.06, Dmin (a) 0.10, (b) 0.10, (c) 0.08 and relative speed (a) 400, (b) 2000, (c) 100.</p>
