<p>The electrical bite indicator is for fishing, a bite being acoustically indicated to the angler in daylight and optically indicated by a lamp during darkness. The device has an on-off knob. After being switched on, the fishing line is introduced in the middle or at the tip between the two contacts, which are fitted to the device. Consequently, the circuit is broken and the lights on the top side of the indicator can no longer operate. As soon as a fish bites, the line is tensioned so that it is released from the contacts and the circuit is re-made.</p> |
