<p>The blocking of the free space left in the bulkhead or partition after the insertion of the cable or conduit is filled with a damp compound based on asbestos and which sets at the atmospheric pressure. The compound comprises asbestos fibres and powder, some pigments and light structural additives. The material is wetted at the site with water and organic binders are added to it. In the case of horizontal laying of cables (5) through an opening (4) in a partition wall (3), the support for the cables is ensured by a trough (6) and bracket (8). This design applies for wall thickness of up to 250 mm when the copper area of the cable is limited to 4 X 240 mm2.</p> |
