<p>The spring insertion for upholstery consists of several rows of springs, with alternately left and right configuration. Parts of the springs forming the top and bottom coils are U-shaped, with the straight U sides and the straight bridge piece parallel to the lengthwise and crosswise direction in the top and bottom sections of the spring insertion. The bridge pieces forming the top of each row are displaced by half the length of a bridge piece in relation to the straight pieces forming the bottom coils. On the two front sides, the bridge piece of the U shaped part forming the top coil is half as short as that of the U shaped part forming the bottom coil. Next to the shorter bridge pice (1') as a straight part (2') parallel to the front side (K). The straight part (2') leads into a straight part (2") parallel to the bridge piece (1') and extending inwards into the insertion. Another (3') elastic spring is next to the straight part (2") and fits into the elastic spring (3) on the front side (K) of the insertion, and has a contrary-winding coil. The end (3") of the other elastic spring (3') is fixed to the side (2) of the U shaped piece (1, 2).</p> |
