In Parent patent, mfr. of a heat-exchanger insect coated with corrosion-resistant plastics and comprises a tube bundle which is welded into bores of >=1 frontal bottom plate and passes through spaced, plastics, diverting discs for the exterior heat-exchange medium. In this patent of addition the bores in the bottom plate are cleaned with a solvent and/or by sand blasting; then lined, by spraying, with a heat-setting, clear, resin, pref. an epoxy. After drying the tube bundle is introduced and the ends of the tubes passing through the bores radially rolled-on in known manner to remove any resin being forced out of the bores. The resin is removed with solvent and/or sand blasting, and the anchoring rods (pref. double) welded to the bottom plate.
