<p>The plastics crate construction is such that the inside area will accommodate 4 separate bottle carriers each holding e.g. 6 soft drinks bottles i.e. a total of 24 bottles. The plate has a rectangular base area and surrounding side and endwalls connected by curved corner sections. The base area is at predetermined distances divided by longitudinal and transverse positioned cruciform shaped plastics uprights. Spacings of these cruciform posts is such that the facing inside walls of the crate having reinforcing webs with facing shoulders at right angles to the protruding web, and are positioned so that the 4 individual bottle carriers when cast integral with the crate, serve as distance pieces for the carrier packs which are positioned to form two parallel and traverse lines, and ensure that the packs are mounted stable on the crate floor area.</p> |
