<p>1436904 Bioactive additives for paints CIBA-GEIGY AG 3 Aug 1973 [4 Aug 1972 6 July 1973] 36996/73 Heading C3P [Also in Division C2] Plasticised P.V.C. and white pigmented paints based on polyvinyl proprionate or styrene-butadiene copolymer have incorporated therein an antimicrobial compound of general formula where M is tin or lead, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each phenyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl or a C 1 -C 16 aliphatic group which may be singly olefinically unsaturated, the sum of the C atoms of R 1 - R 3 being at most 18, and A is a strongly hydrophilic group containing a polyol, polyether, carboxylate, sulphonate, carboxylic acid ester, carboxylic acid amide and/or quaternary nitrogen function.</p> |
