PURPOSE: A system and a method for a multiuser preceding technology research of an intellectual property system are provided to automatically carry out a research/analysis about each keyword if an expert of various technology fields inputs a keyword relating to the situation of each field. CONSTITUTION: A keyword input part(10) receives the keyword of a technology field from the expert of various technology fields. A preceding technology database(40) stores various kinds of preceding technology data. A research/analysis controller(30) researches the preceding technology from the data of the preceding technology database and analyzes the similarity for the research target data by combining the inputted keyword into a format desired by a user. A research result database(50) stores the preceding technology data, the analyzed preceding technology data and an analysis result. The keyword input part includes the first keyword input part(21) for the electronic experts, the second keyword input part(22) for the mechanical experts and the third keyword input part(23) for the chemical experts.
